A Summer with Narciso

After interning at Narciso Rodriguez Head Office in NYC for the past three months I can confidently say that he will forever be one of my favourite high-fashion designers.  His designs may seem quite simple through photograph however, in person this is definitely not the case. The delicacy of fabrics, the unlikely combination of colours, the pleating, the lines, the way his clothing shapes to a woman's figure (I could go on forever)... Each of his lines share that same Narciso minimalistic style while always bringing something new to the runway. Needless to say, my experience was a great one and I feel as though working for this world renowned designer truly opened my eyes to the beauty of the industry.

So feast your eyes on some of my favourite Narciso moments-

I will be working the Spring 2014 show during New York Fashion Week so I will be sure to keep you posted on my favourite looks from that collection- I'm so excited!

Photographs- A NY Sunset

The best part of having visitors in town is getting an excuse to do all of the touristy things I normally wouldn't. These photos were taken from my first trip on The Staten Island Ferry.

Love Me a Kimono

Who needs a cardigan or a blazer when you can wear a beautiful statement piece that will turn your outfit from "blah" to "bohemian chic?" Here are some pictures of a few of my kimonos along with some fabulous "kimono inspiration."
